Executive Director of Basketball Training, Micah Lancaster, has developed and designed the entire curriculum for all Hoops City U training programs. However, there is one class that Micah Lancaster is now guaranteed to lead the majority of the time. That class is Offensive Moves and Finishing Collegiate! And now the Offensive Moves and Finishing participants will be extended a second day.

"Training for offensive moves is not as simple as some may think", says Lancaster, "Most people think ball handling is the main ingredient to successful driving and penetration, but the best offensive players are created through tremendous footwork, ball protection, and timing. Being able to handle the ball is the icing on the cake. And then once a player creates space and gets to the basket, they have to be able to finish in a variety of ways!"

It's because of the extensive details necessary to find success at creating space from defenders and finishing at the basket that Hoops City is now offering a second day for the program. Continues Lancaster, "Player's need more repetition and time to learn when it comes to these important skills!"

That extra session will be every Thursday from 6-7 PM for the Winter Program.
