An Unparalleled Plan to Player Development
A Professional Strategy
On Staff NCAA College Recruiting Advisor
Each male and female athlete who participates on a Team Carolina Showcase Team is personally assigned to our on staff NCAA Recruiting Advisor, former ACC Standout at NC State, Avie Lester. Avie's experience and expertise enables every athlete with the necessary tools to enhance their opportunities for playing at the collegiate level. Avie connects with players and their families on an ongoing basis to discuss various strategic methods to best promote your son/daughter. These sessions are structured, organized and timely that follows a planned progression ranging from contacting colleges, writing letters, arranging un-official visits and much more. Specific calendars regarding the process begins with athletes in the middle school age groups.
More NCAA Exposure Tournament Opportunities
In addition to our on staff NCAA Recruiting Advisor, our athletes in 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th grades will have an expanded opportunity to attend the large NCAA Invitation Only Exposure tournaments during the open recruiting periods. Here you will play in front of college coaches in locations such as Atlanta, Chicago and other regional city events. Our coaches and staff will also be advising and instructing our athletes through practice "mock" college coach phone calls and "how to communicate" seminars. Further, each participating athlete will have access to their own online website personal recruiting page, and a much more comprehensive emphasis on recruiting preparation.
Nutrition Guidance & Academic Support
We are thrilled to have added to our affiliation a certified nutritionist who will be advising each team Head Coach on proper hydration and food diet throughout the AAU season. Further, our Academic Counselor will be working directly with each Head Coach on a scheduled basis to ensure athletes are maintaining good study habits, meeting academic objectives, and if needed, directed to where they may get the help needed.

Our expansion with six teams in each of our new regions enables you to have access to more effective resources for your continued development and team benefit. All of our supportive staff and trainers are directly involved with each location, the end result........YOU benefit.

Team Carolina's approach to coaching is balanced proportionately on individual skill development and team elements, as we believe that this will ultimately translate into success for the team and a stronger self-image in each player. We strongly believe in the potential of each player, and it is the goal of the Team Carolina Basketball Club coaches and administration to help realize that potential.
